Trips

A variety of trips overseas occur on a regular basis. All school trips have the underlying aim of developing the character of each pupil and broadening their wider understanding and appreciation of other countries, races, religions, cultures and customs.

Some of the many examples of opportunities that have been or are currently offered to students include the Spanish department’s language study trip to Spain, a combined Normandy trip with the French, History and Home Economics departments, a Geography trip to Iceland to learn about the physical landscape of the country; ski trips to Italy and the United States of America, the History trip to Krakow in Poland to learn about the Concentration Camp at Auschwitz and the Performing Arts, English and Art trip to London to experience the cultural life of the city. We also offer sporting tours for rugby and hockey teams.

• South Africa Rugby Trip – Summer 2024
