Soroptimist International Speaking Competition
Year 13 pupil, Jessie Bolton entered the regional round of the prestigious Soroptimist International Speaking Competition last Wednesday night in Ballymena. She competed against Year 12 and 13 girls from five local schools and came 2nd Place overall. Jessie's speech was on the topic of 'Prosperity - the United Nations think it will take 300 years to achieve gender equality. Seriously?' and was outstanding. This is a fantastic achievement and we are very proud of her.
