French Debate at QUB

A huge congratulations to our French debating team (captain Tommy Monahan, Kate Monaghan and Claire Hunter) who came runners up in today's NICILT/QUB A-Level debating competition, beating eight other schools from across Northern Ireland. The team debated against the Royal School Armagh, proposing the motion “The advantages of tourism outweigh the disadvantages), debating entirely in French infront of an audience of university staff, teachers and students from other schools.

A special well done goes to Claire Hunter who won best speaker in our debate. We are so proud of you all! Thank you to Mr Jabaud for all his help!
