Duke of Edinburgh Silver Hillwalking Practice Expedition
Over last weekend our Silver Hillwalking Group took part in a Practice Expedition for their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. They started on a wet Friday night at Dungonnell Dam. On Saturday they made their way through the Antrim Hills and camped at the base of Trostan Mountain. On Sunday the groups all set off early and made it in great time to the finishing point of Breen Forest outside Ballycastle. They are now all looking forward to their qualifying expedition in a couple of weeks.
