Carol Service 2019
Christmas truly begins in Antrim Grammar School when the Carol Service takes place, therefore the start of Christmas was marked by all within the Antrim Grammar School community on the evening of Tuesday 17th December. It was wonderful to see Governors, parents, present and past pupils, family and friends enjoy the festive carols, readings and musical treats in the candlelit Stinson Hall.
Those present were treated to outstanding performances by the Junior Choir, Senior Choir, Ensembles, Soloists, Windband and Orchestra. Thanks must go to Mrs Valerie Norwood, Mr David Gillespie and our peripatetic tutors. Thanks also to Mrs Louise Aitcheson, Mrs Sarah Hanna and Mrs Oonagh Fairgrieve, who prepared and provided the perfect backdrop to an evening of worship which also saw pupils deliver the lessons telling of Jesus’ birth. In addition, delicious homemade refreshments were kindly provided in the Pupil Foyer by the other members of staff.
Congratulations to everybody within and associated with Antrim Grammar School who helped to bring the warm Christmas Spirit to Antrim Grammar School and made Tuesday’s event such a success.
