Bun Sale for Australian Red Cross
On Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd January, Eva in Year 8, helped by her classmates and friends, organised a bun sale in aid of the Australian Red Cross.
Eva, who has relatives in Australia, wanted to raise money to help after she heard about the devastating bush fires.
Overall Eva raised an amazing £220 (AU$450) and was sent a letter from the Red Cross thanking her for her kind donation and for believing in the power of humanity.
Thank you to everyone in Eva’s class who helped make and sell the buns and also to everyone who bought a bun.
A special thank you goes to Eva. Thank you for thinking of others and showing true character. AGS is so proud of you!
