Sloane McClay Award Winner

Antrim Grammar pupil, Samantha Collister has come first in the prestigious Sloane McClay Award for her combined top marks in GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

The Sloane McClay Award was established in 2017 to commemorate the life and work of Hans Sloane and Sir Allen McClay.  Read more here:

Samantha received her award at a prize-giving ceremony held in the Ulster Museum on Friday 4 January. Professor Su Taylor, Dean of Research, School of the Built Environment, Queen’s University, Belfast presented the award and delivered The Hans Sloane lecture.

The school was also presented with an award as recognition of excellence in teaching.

Well done to Samantha and her teachers on this truly amazing achievement!
