Modern Foreign Languages Spring Success

NICILT/QUB French and Spanish Debating competitions

Antrim Grammar School competed in the A-Level Debating competitions against other schools from across Northern Ireland.  In both competitions we debated against Bangor Grammar School, winning the debate in each case.  We were delighted to be in the unique position of winning the Runners Up title in both French and Spanish. Well done to the French team of Jonathan Boyd, Cavan Boyd and Naomi Clingen and the Spanish team of Beth Vance, Kirsten Hood and Chloe Smyth. Special congratulations to Beth Vance and Cavan Boyd who won Best Speaker prizes in the Spanish and French competitions respectively.
